Helle ja keskikesä eivät ole minun juttuni. Lohduttaudun ajattelemalla, että kohta on jo juhannus ja yöt alkaa pidentyä.

The heat and high summer just are not my thing. I take solace to think, that it is soon midsummer and nights starts to get longer.

Eilistä superhellettä pakenimme rannalle. Tällä kertaa tytär ei kylmettynyt yhtä nopeasti ja malttoi jopa leikkiä rannalla hieman. Ehdimme hyvän aikaa polskutella tuolla ja syödä rannalla mansikoita ja mikä tärkeintä: vilvoittua hieman.

Tomorrows superheat we escape to the beach. At this time daughter didn't get cold so quickly and she even stay playing at the beach. We reach to splash there good while and eat strawberrys at the beach and the most important thing: cool off a bit.

Ollaan käyty puistossakin. Saippuakuplat hieman hämäsi tytärtä menemästä suihkulähdealtaaseen. Puistomme laidalla on mahtava lapsille sopiva ravintola terasseineen, jossa käytiin syömässä. On ollut hankala saada tytärtä juomaan vettä näillä helteillä, kunnes keksin laittaa sitruunaviipaleen juomapulloon. En itsekään ole vesijohtoveden ystävä, maistuu kammottavalle, mutta sitruuna auttaa asiaa.

We have been at the park too. Soap bubbles distracted daughter a little bit to go to the fountain pool. At the edge of the park there is a wonderful suitable for children restaurant with terrace, where we go to eat. Has been difficult to get daughter to drink water at these heat waves, until I figure out to put a slice of lemon at the drinking bottle. I'am not neither a big aqueduct water friend, it tastes terrible, but lemon helps it.

Ihastuttava installaatio oli ilmestynyt uuden sillan alikulkuun. Minusta on aina hienoa nähdä taidetta kaupunkitilassa. En panisi pahakseni vaikka tällaisia olisi enemmänkin ja käsittääkseni tänä kesänä kaupungissamme onkin. Ehkä eniten kuitenkin kaipaisin tilaa ihan tavallisten kaupunkilaisten ilmaisulle. Tällainenkin tilaisuus on nyt kaupungissamme toisen pääsillan alikulkuun järjestetty: sinne on tuotu vanha maalaus jota sai jatkaa mieleiseensä suuntaan. Minusta kuitenkin  tällainen valmis (ja poisirroitettava!) pohja on kaupunkilaisten aliarviointia. Samainen sillanalusta, johon tämä valmis pohja on nyt ruuvattu, on ollut remontistaan lähtien kaupunkimme graffitin vastaisen toiminnan kulmakiviä eikä käsittääkseni verorahojamme olla säästelty sen buffauksessa. 

Kaupunkimme hienon ja ulospursuavan näyttelyn nimi on Villiruusu. Mutta miten on, kuinka villisti kaupunki todellisuudessa antaa kukkiensa kasvaa?

A lovely installation was appeared at the new bridges underpass. I think it is always great to see art at the urban space. I didn't mind even there were more like these and I understand that at this summer in our town there is. But most I miss more space to ordinary people to express themself. This too is possible at this summer at our towns another main bridges underpass: there has brought an old painting that is allowed to proceed how one likes. I think that is underestimation of people. Same underpass which there is now that painting screwed on, has been since renovation our towns cornerstones of antigraffiti action and I understand that our tax moneys have not been saved when buffing those walls.

Our towns fine and outside going art exhibition has been designated to Wild Rose. But how it is like, how wild the town really let his flowers to grow?
