Retki puistometsään

Koska hermoni alkoivat olla kollaasin osoittamassa tilassa rakkaan villikkoni kanssa, päätin, että lähdemme metsään rauhoittumaan.

Because my nerves started to be state as collage show because of my darling enfant terrible, I decited we go to the woods to calm down.

Koska tahdoin hermolomaa enkä seikkailua, paikaksi valikoitui lapsuuteni metsä. Metsä, jonka tunnen kuin taskuni ja johon astuminen merkitsee kotiinpaluuta. Paikalla on erityisen arvokas kulttuurihistoriallinen merkitys ja metsä on lumoavan kaunis vanhoine jalopuineen. Lapsena olin äärettömän kiinnostunut paikalla sijainneen kartanon historiasta ja esitelmöin siitä koulussakin. Silloin tuolla oli vielä sekä kartanon että kartanon navetan rauniot. Pakettiin kuuluu vielä puistometsässä sijaitseva hautakivi, johon on haudattu kartanon hevonen. On hienoa, että paikkaa on kunnostettu ja ylläpidetty kaupungin toimesta. Nyt kun meillä on keskustassa polkupyörävuokraamokin, kannustan kaikkia Porvoossa kävijöitä vuokraamaan pyörän ja huristelemaan tuonne päiväretkelle. 

Because I got to rest my nerves, I selected to go familiar place which my childhood forest is. Forest which I know so well and which stepping in means to homecoming to me. The place have especial cultural history meaning and it is magically beautiful with old hardwood. As a child I was infinite intrested about the mansion which was lie there formely and I was even make I presentation about it at school. At the time there still were rock ruins of the mansion and it's barn. The forestpark include still a gravestone of mansions horse. It is great that town renovate and maintain the place. Now when we have a bike rental company at the center of town, I encourage eveyone who visit Porvoo to rent a bike and cycle to the Gammelbacka nature trail to day trip.

Lähdimme matkaan entisen kartanon kohdalta, jossa nykyään sijaitsee seurakuntakeskus.

We started at the point were the maison has been and nowdays there are a congregation centre.

Puistometsässä sijaitsee lampi. Lampi oli täynnä sammokon nuijapäitä, jonka vuoksi sitä kutsutaankin Sammakkolammeksi. Lammessa olevaan pikkusaareen on asennettu sillat.

There is pond at forestpark. The pond was full of tadpoles, which why it is called a Frog pond. In the pond there is a small island where leads two bridges.

Maisemaa. Metsän keskellä on niitty, jonka reunalla tuo kivi toimii mukavana levähdyspaikkana. Toisella reunalla on rivistö vanhoja jalopuita.

 Views to forestpark. At the middle of woods are a meadow whom border have a big stone where can rest a little. At the another border there is a line of old hardwood.

Lähellä rantaa sijaitsee toinen todella kaunis niitty, jossa ennen on sijainnut kartanon palvelusväen torppa. Tytär ennätti luulla siankärsämöä kukkakaaliksi.

Near the beach is located another very beautiful meadow, where formely have located maisons servants croft. Daughter was thinking that milfoil is a cauliflower. 

Metsä rajoittuu mahtaviin Tornbergetin kallioihin, josta on upeat näköalat Porvoonjoen suiston ja meren yhtymäkohtaan. Kallioilta näkyy Sikosaari, Sahasaaret (jossa on ennen sijainnut saha ja jonne puolestaan kannattaa suunnata talvella, kun vesi on jäässä) ja Hamarin kylä, jossa sijaitsee ravintola Hamarin Seo, jossa on helppo ja mukava käydä syömässä, jos ei jaksa eväitä ottaa mukaan. Kallioilta on kaksi reittiä alas rantaan, jonne on kunnostettu uimaranta. Uimarannan toinen, pienempi puoli on koirille sallittu alue.

Woods is limited to monumental Tornberget rocks, whereof are great views to the Porvoonjoki delta area meets the sea. At the rocks are shown Sikosaari, Sahasaaret (wherein has formely located a sawmill and where in turn make sense to go at winter when the water is frozen) and village of Hamari, wherein in is located "Hamarin Seo" which is a nice restaurant if one doesn't take picnic lunch with. At the rocks there are two ways down to the beach, where have refurbished a swimming beach. Beaches another, smaller side is allowed for dogs.

Tässä tytär ja koira uimassa. Tytär polskutteli tuolla käsipohjaa ja uitti koiraa innoissaan. Uimaranta on alussa hiekkapohjainen, mutta syvemmällä jo mutapohjainen. Vesiliikenne kulkee myös tuosta ohi, me näimme upean vuonna 1947 valmistuneen kaljaasin M/aux Maritan. Tytär olisi tahtonut kyytiin ja ajatuksensa oli ilmeisesti uida alukselle. Itku tuli kun äiti ei päästänyt ja lähdimme rannalle lämmittelemään, kun tytär vapisi taas siihen malliin.

Here is daughter and dog swimming. Daughter was splashing hands on the ground there and floated the dog in ecstasies. Swimming beach is at the beginning sand basis, but at the deeper mud basis. Waterborne passes by there and we see gorgeous sailing ship M/aux Marita. Daughter wanted to go aboard and apparently she think to swim there. She was crying when mommy doesn't let her and we went at the beach to get warm because dauhgter was shaking again.

Takkiakin tarvittiin hetkeksi uimisen jälkeen merituulia vastaan. Reissumme oli erittäin onnistunut ja virkistävä. Tytär (ja äiti) oli huomattavan rauhallinen meriuinnin jälkeen.

Daughter was needed even a jacket after swimming against sea breeze. Our trip was successful and refreshing. Dauhgter (and mother) was significant peaceful after sea swimming.
